How to connect iphone to your home PC ADSL connection

Do you know how to connect iphone to your home PC ADSL connection???


Connecting to ADSL is a piece of cake. There are only few steps you have to follow
Here is the three steps that you have to do.

1. Configure your machine wireless connection
2. Configure your iPhone
3. Connect the PC internet connection with iPhone

1.Configure your machine wireless connection

• Go to control panel -> network connections.
• Right click on "Wireless network connection" and choose properties.
• Choose "Wireless Networks" tab.
  
  

• Click the "Add" button, in "Preferred networks" section.

• Give "Nirosh's com and iphone" as SSID (you can choose any other name)
• Select "Open" for "network authentication"
• Select "Disabled" for "data encryption"
• Tick the checkbox saying "This is a computer-to-computer(ad hoc) network..."
• You need not change anything else in the other two tabs.
• Save your settings, by pressing OK in all the places.

Step 2

• Go to Network connection
• Write click wireless connection
• Go to general tab and then You can see "This connection uses the following items " options
• select internet protocol (TCP/IP)
• Click properties
• U will get a another window
  
• Then change the ip address to the 192.168.0.1 (this can be changed according to ur preference, but I prefer u to use the same ip that I have already used)
  Subnet mask 255.255.255.0

step 3

Bridge ur dial up adsl connction and wifi connection

• go to Network Connection
• Right click dial up connection
• Go to Advance tab
• and select the below showed boxes
• click ok

2.Configure your iphone

• settings>Wi-Fi > Switch on the Wi-Fi >

After you configure your wifi connection in you desktop, your wifi connection will appears in iphone with the name of "Nirosh’s com and iphone"(this is the connection we have built above)

• Touch the blue arrow and proceed
• Then give the same ip address, subnet mask which were shown in the below image
• Then give the wireless connection ip address in your machine as router (when we configure desktop machine we assign 192.168.0.1 as ip address. so give the same ip address as router. if u use different ip address make sure to use it as router )
• DNS shoul be the same 222.165.160.2
  
  

Open your Safari Browser and ENJOy!!!!
